The Standard C++ Library example programs include makefiles that you can use as patterns for your application makefiles. Rogue Wave highly recommends that you copy and modify them. If you have compiled the Standard C++ Library examples, the makefiles are located in:
<rw_root>\workspaces\<OS+ver>\<COMPILER+ver>\<buildtype> \examples\std<ver><os>
