3.3 Applications with Multiple Dependencies

The situation becomes more complex if you use two or more Rogue Wave libraries that are independent of each other. For example, say your application depends on DBTools.h++ for database access, Tools.h++ Professional for networking, and Threads.h++ for multithreading. The examples builds for each of these libraries can help you to determine how the build configuration for that particular library (and Tools.h++) affect the requirements for your application build, but say nothing about the other two libraries. In such a case, you would need to consider the examples build configurations for all three libraries and combine them to assemble the total requirements for your application build.

Chapter 4 of this guide provides reference information on preprocessor macros and compiler flags associated with Rogue Wave products. This is another resource that can help you to determine the requirements for your application build.
