Saving a Template
A template contains all the information that makes up the VDA Tool—background color, legend, graphical elements, view attributes, axes, and so on—except it does not contain any data.
To create a template,
Select File=>Save Template As.
Use the File Tool dialog box to choose a file name and directory in which to store the template. By default, template files have a .tpl extension.
A template file differs from a save file. A save file contains an exact copy of a VDA Tool, including its data.
