Starting Optional Toolkits
PV‑WAVE includes additional toolkits that add functionality to PV‑WAVE and applications built on PV‑WAVE technology.
To start the optional toolkits, do the following:
1.Start PV-WAVE.
2. From the WAVE> prompt, enter the command for the optional toolkit you want to start. Refer to Optional Toolkits for a list of the optional toolkits.

| @waveadv | This enables the PV‑WAVE IMSL Mathematics and PV‑WAVE IMSL Statistics packages. This is part of PV‑WAVE Advantage. |
| @sigpro_startup | This enables the PV‑WAVE Signal Processing Toolkit. To use this toolkit, you must have PV‑WAVE IMSL Mathematics and PV‑WAVE IMSL Statistics installed. This is part of PV‑WAVE Extreme Advantage. |
| @ip_startup | This enables the PV‑WAVE Image Processing Toolkit. To use this toolkit, you must have PV‑WAVE IMSL Mathematics and PV‑WAVE IMSL Statistics installed. This is part of PV‑WAVE Extreme Advantage. |
| @odbc_startup | This enables the PV‑WAVE ODBC Connection. This requires a separate license. |
| @hdf_startup | Enables the Hierarchal Data Format (HDF) interface. |
| @hdf5_startup | Enables the Hierarchal Data Format, Version 5 (HDF5) interface. |
| @xml_startup | Enables the Extensible Mark-up Language (XML) interface. |
