Selecting Graphics Objects
Before you can cut, copy, paste, delete, group, or change the attributes of a graphics object, you must select it. Graphics objects that you can select include lines, boxes, text, legends, axes, bitmaps, and groups.
Selecting a Single Object
To select a graphics object, do the following:
1. Click MB1 on the Object Select button on the button bar or choose Edit=>Object Select.
2. To select an object, you can either:
*Click MB1 on the object, or
*Press MB1 and drag the pointer to draw a rectangle around the object.

If you are selecting a rectangular object, such as a box or legend, click inside the object to select it. The selected object becomes highlighted, and tiny “handles” appear at the ends or corners of the object.
Selecting Multiple Objects
To select more than one object at a time, do the following:
1. Click MB1 on the Object Select button on the button bar or choose Edit=>Object Select.
2. To select multiple objects, you can either:
*Click <Shift>-MB1 on each additional object, or
*Press MB1 and drag the pointer to draw a rectangle around all the objects that you want to select.
*Choose Edit=>Select All to select all graphics objects at once.
