This dialog box is a standard file selection dialog box. It is used to locate or specify a filename and/or directory.

Filter—Text field used to change directories and specify files with wild card characters. Press <Return> or click Filter to apply the filter. The filenames that match the filter are displayed in the Files list box.

Directories—List box used to change directories with the mouse. Double-click on a directory name to switch to that directory.

Files—List box used to select a file with the mouse. Click on a filename to select it, or double-click on a filename to open the file directly.

Enter file name—Text field used to specify a filename to read from. Enter a filename in this text field and press <Return> or click OK to after you have entered the text.

OK—Read from the filename specified in the Enter file name text field and exit the dialog box.

Filter—Button used to apply the filter shown in the Filter text field to the directory currently highlighted in the Directories list box to list all files ending in the specified three letter extension in the Files list box. Clicking this button is equivalent to pressing <Return> while the input focus is in the Filter text field.

Cancel—Dismiss the dialog box without taking any action.

Help—Display online Help on the dialog box.
