View Attributes Dialog Box (Plot Tool)
X Range From/To—Enter the desired data range of the x -axis, from a minimum value to a maximum value.
Y Range From/To—Enter the desired data range of the y-axis, from a minimum value to a maximum value.
X Region From/To—This function is useful when you want to create extra margin space around a plot. This extra space can be used for text and other graphics objects. Enter normal coordinate values specifying the amount of space you want to the left and right of the plot. Normal coordinate values always fall in the range {0–1}. For example, values of From: 0.2 and To: 0.8 reposition the plot so that there is 20% margin space on the left and right of the plot.
Y Region From/To—This function is useful when you want to create extra margin space around a plot. This extra space can be used for text and other graphics objects. Enter normal coordinate values specifying the amount of space you want above and below the plot. Normal coordinate values always fall in the range {0–1}. For example, values of From: 0.2 and To: 0.8 reposition the plot so that there is 20% margin space above and below the plot.
Background Color—Brings up the Background Color dialog box. Use this dialog box to select a background color for your plot. If you change a color, the change is reflected in corresponding color square in the View Attributes dialog box.
Selection Color—Brings up the Selection Color dialog box. Use this window to select a color that will be used to highlight selected graphics and data. If you change a color, the change is reflected in corresponding color square in the View Attributes dialog box.
Accept New Variables—If this button is selected, the VDA Tool will accept variables that are exported from other VDA Tools. If this button is not selected, variables cannot be exported from another VDA Tool to this VDA Tool.
X style – Y style—Choose the type of scaling to be used for the X and Y axes. The choices are:
Regular – Regular—Produces a plot with linear scaling on both axes.
Log – Regular—Produces a plot with logarithmic scaling on the x-axis and linear scaling on the y-axis.
Regular – Log—Produces a plot with linear scaling on the x-Axis and logarithmic scaling on the y-axis.
Log – Log—Produces a plot with logarithmic scaling on both axes.

note
A domain value of 0 for the logarithmic axis style results in an error. This is because the logarithm functions are undefined at log(0).
OK—Apply the selected attributes and exit the dialog box.
Apply—Apply the selected attributes, but do not exit the dialog box.
Cancel—Dismiss the dialog box without taking any action.
Help—Display online Help on the dialog box.
