Export As Dialog Box (Image Tool)
Save the current image in a named variable.
Current Images—Select the image that you want to save.
Save Image As—Enter a variable name for the image.
Overwrite original colormap—If this option is selected, the current colormap overwrites the original colormap when you export the variable. This feature is provided in case you have modified the colormap and want to save it with the image.
Save colormap with pixels—If this option is selected, the current colormap is saved with the 2D pixel image. The result is that a variable of type image associative array is created. This type of variable allows pixel, colormap, and other image information to be stored together.
Export with annotations—If this option is selected, the image is saved as a 2D pixmap that includes any annotations that were added to the view. Annotations, such as text, lines, and so on, are preserved as part of the saved pixmap and cannot be selected and modified if the pixmap is reloaded in the Image Tool. Image values are converted to byte data when exported with this option.
Crop to selected region—If this option is selected, the exported image will be cropped to the subimage defined by the selected region. If an irregular selection is active, the subimage defined by the bounding rectangle will be exported.
OK—Export the image and exit the dialog box.
Apply—Export the image, but do not exit the dialog box.
Cancel—Dismiss the dialog box without taking any action.
Help—Display online Help on the dialog box.
