Displaying Data in an Image Tool
Before you can display a variable in an Image Tool, the variable must already exist on the $MAIN$ level of PV-WAVE.
Use any of the following methods to display a variable in an Image Tool.
Method 1:
1. Select an image variable from the variable list of the Image Processing Navigator. To select a variable, click on it. (Use Shift-Click to select more than one variable.)
2. Click the Image Tool icon on the Navigator. See Opening an Image Processing VDA Tool to Display a Selected Variable for more information.

note
You can import multiple images into an Image Tool; however, the images must all have the same size, depth, and interleaving.
Method 2:
*Import a variable directly into the Image Tool using the File=>Import Variable(s) function.
Method 3:
*Supply one or more variable names as parameters to the Image Tool command. For example:
WAVE> WzIPImage, image1
where image1 is a variable on the $MAIN$ level of PV-WAVE. If multiple images are specified on the command line, they must all have the same size, depth, and interleaving.
