Windowing Dialog Box (Image Tool)
Compute one of several different data windows: Blackman, Chebyshev, Hamming, Hanning, Kaiser, rectangular, or triangular.
Click
here for information on the domain equations for each of the data windows.
Dim 1—Enter the first dimension of the window sequence.
Dim 2—Enter the second dimension of the window sequence.
Window Type—Choose the type of window to compute. Click here for the window domain equations.
If Chebyshev
is set, the
Theta (Theta is
θ0 in the Chebyshev window domain equation) is also required.
If Kaiser is set, input parameter
Alpha (Alpha
is
α in the Kaiser window domain equation) is also required.
A rectangular window is also known as a boxcar window.
Create New Image—If this option is selected, the processed data is used to create a new image. Enter a variable name for the output in the Output Image text field.
Overwrite Image—If this option is selected, the current image is overwritten by the processed data.
Multiply by Image—If this option is selected, the window is multiplied by the current image. The current image is replaced by the result.
Type—Select the data type of the output.
Center—If selected, the window is shifted so that the window center is at the center of the returned array.
Alpha—Specify an Alpha value when computing a Kaiser window.
Theta—Specify Theta value when computing a Chebyshev window.
Output Image—Enter a variable name for the Windowing output
OK—Compute the window and exit the dialog box.
Apply—Compute the window, but do not exit the dialog box.
Cancel—Dismiss the dialog box without taking any action.
Help—Display online Help on the dialog box.
