Smooth Dialog Box (Image Tool)
Smooth the image.
Width—The width of the smoothing window. Should be an odd number, smaller than the smallest dimension. (If Width is even, Width + 1 is used instead.)
Edge—Choose how edge effects are handled. Edge options include:
Copy—Copies the border of the input image to the output image. Zero—Sets the border of the output image to zero. Create New Image—If this option is selected, the processed data is used to create a new image. Enter a suffix for the new image variable name in the text field provided.
Overwrite Image—If this option is selected, the current image is overwritten by the processed data.
Variable Suffix—If the Create New Image option is selected, enter a suffix for the new image variable name. This suffix is added to the original variable name.
OK—Smooth the image and exit the dialog box.
Apply—Smooth the image, but do not exit the dialog box.
Cancel—Dismiss the dialog box without taking any action.
Help—Display online Help on the dialog box.
