Split Regions Dialog Box (Image Tool)
Split homogeneous regions in an image, where the homogeneity is based on the region range.
Max Iterations—Specify the maximum number of iterations used to split a region. (Default: 1000)
Threshold—A floating-point scalar threshold value used to determine whether or not a pixel belongs to a given region. (Default: 0.1)
Create New Image—Select this option to store the result in a new image variable.
Overwrite Image—Select this option to overwrite the original image with the result.
Variable Suffix—If the Create New Image option is selected, enter a suffix for the new image variable name. This suffix is added to the original variable name.
OK—Split regions and exit the dialog box.
Apply—Split regions, but do not exit the dialog box.
Cancel—Dismiss the dialog box without taking any action.
Help—Display online Help on the dialog box.
