Image Options Dialog Box
This dialog box allows you to choose the organization of the imported image data.
Full, Image Associative Array—Import the image into an image associative array. For detailed information on this type of array, refer to the PV-WAVE function IMAGE CREATE.
Image Pixel Values Only—Import only the pixel values in the image file. This option creates a 2D array (8-bit images) or 3D array (24-bit images).
Both—Import an image associative array and 2D array.
Preserve Pixel Ordering—Do not change the current pixel ordering.
Reorder Pixels (Y Direction)—Mirror the image in the y-direction.
Interleaving Format—Select the type of
interleaving from the option menu. Interleaving is only valid for 3D byte arrays.
Read File As—WzImport tries to determine the type of image file you are importing using information stored in the file itself and the filename extension. If WzImport cannot determine the file type, choose a format from this menu.
note | The file type for 16-bit TIFF images must always be set using this menu as 8-bit and 16-bit images cannot be automatically determined. |
Read All Images in File—If there are multiple images in the file, each image is extracted and placed in a PV-WAVE variable.
Read Only Selected Images—Enter the images to read from the file in the text field. Image numbers start with zero (0). If you enter an image number for a subimage that does not exist, no variable is created for that subimage and the read operation stops at that point.
Starting Image Number—If Read Only Selected Images is selected, enter index number of the first image to read.
Ending Image Number—If Read Only Selected Images is selected, enter index number of the last image to read.
Create Separate Image Objects—This option is useful if you are reading multiple images. If this option is selected, each image that is read is saved in a separate variable. Otherwise, an array of images is created.
OK—Accept the selected option settings, and dismiss the dialog box.
Apply—Apply the option settings, but do not dismiss the dialog box.
Cancel—Dismiss the dialog box.
Help—Display online Help on the dialog box.
