Getting Information About Your Data
You can get information about a single data point in the image, or an area of the image.
Information on a Single Point
1. Select the Data Selection button.
2. Position the pointer on the area of interest.
3. Click
MB1 once to select a single point. The information about the data point is displayed in the WzImage window Message Area. For a single data point the information returned is the data value and the X- and Y-coordinates.
Information on a Range of Points
Using Data Selection
To obtain information about a range of data points, press and drag MB1 to define the rectangle containing the area of interest. When you are satisfied with the rectangle size and placement, release MB1 and the resulting information is displayed in the Message Area.
The information returned for the area defined by the rectangle includes
The selected coordinate range: (
X1,
Y1) to (
X2,
Y2).
The minimum and maximum data values within the defined area.
The mean, median, and standard deviation statistics of the entire data set within the area defined by the rectangle.
