Using the Button Bar

PV-WAVE Foundation > VDA Tools > Navigator > Using the Button Bar

The icons on the button bar are used to start VDA Tools. Click MB1 on an icon to start a VDA Tool.

note	To see the name of the VDA Tool associated with an icon, simply point in the icon. The name of the VDA Tool appears in the upper-left corner of the button bar.

Some VDA Tools can be started without the existence of a selected variable, while other VDA Tools require that a variable be selected. For a list of the variable-dependent and variable-independent VDA Tools, see Summary of VDA Tools.

note	Look in the message area of the Navigator for feedback whenever you open a VDA Tool. If the VDA Tool requires a variable, but none is currently selected, then an error message will be displayed in the message area.
