Export As Pixmap Dialog Box
This dialog box is used to specify a variable in which to export one or more pixmaps. The pixmap is a “snapshot” of the currently displayed graphics.
Pixmap Variable Name—Enter a name for the variable in which to store the pixmap.
Add to Pixmap Variable—When this button is selected, the pixmap is added to the variable whose name is specified in the Pixmap Variable Name field. By adding multiple pixmaps to a variable, you can build up a sequence of “frames” that you can animate in the WzAnimate Tool.
XSize—Displays the size of the pixmap in the x-dimension. This represents the first dimension of the pixmap variable.
YSize—Displays the size of the pixmap in the y-dimension. This represents the second dimension of the pixmap variable.
Frames—Displays the number of pixmaps currently stored in the variable. This represents the third dimension of the pixmap variable.
note | A variable containing a sequence of pixmaps can be loaded into the WzAnimate Tool and animated. A variable containing a single pixmap can be loaded as a bitmap graphical element using the Create=>Bitmap Object command. A pixmap variable is a 3D variable. PV‑WAVE assumes that the third variable represents the number of frames in an animation sequence. For example, if the dimensions of a variable were 512-by-512-by-30, the variable, when viewed in the WzAnimate Tool, would produce a loop or cycle consisting of 30 frames. |
