VDA Tools > WzVariable > Selecting and Unselecting Variables

Selecting and Unselecting Variables
Click MB1 or <Control>-MB1 on a variable to select it. Selected variables are highlighted. Use <Control>-MB1 to unselect a variable. The highlighting is turned off to indicate the variable is unselected.
You can also select a list of variables by clicking and dragging MB1 over the variable names. Likewise, dragging <Control>-MB1 deselects a list of variables.
Variables on this list can be exported to other VDA Tools or used directly by VDA Tools in the Navigator.
Selecting Variables in Order
You can use <Control>-MB1 to select variables in a particular order. Ordering the variable selection lets you specify which variable is plotted along the x-axis, versus one or more variables on the y-axis.
For instance, suppose you have two variables SO2 and CO2. To plot SO2 on the x-axis agains CO2 on the y-axis, do the following:
1. Click MB1 on the variable SO2.
2. Click <Control>-MB1 on the variable CO2.
The selection order is now set so that SO2 will be plotted on the x-axis and CO2 on the y-axis. You can plot these variables by selecting the WzPlot X-Y icon on thn the Navigator.
