Standard Installation - Desktop and Windows Terminal Server/Citrix Server

To install HostAccess:

1. You can install HostAccess by downloading and running the installation file. To download the installation file, follow the instructions sent to you by Perforce. Using Windows Explorer, navigate to the file you downloaded and double-click on it to start the Install Wizard.

2. Click Next on the Welcome screen.

3. Review the license agreement, select "I accept the agreement" and click Next.

4. Select the destination folder for the install. Click Next.

5. Select which components you wish to install. Click Next.

   • If you will be installing Host Programs from this installation, ensure Host Installation Files is selected. See Installing the Host Programs for details.

   • If you are installing HostAccess to a central location and will be registered workstations with the installation, ensure HostAccess Workstation Installer is selected.

   • Click Next.

6. Select the location of the license key file that was provided by Perforce. This may be an evaluation or a full license.

7. To complete the installation, click Install.

   The Installing HostAccess screen displays the installation’s progress. When the installation completes successfully, the Installation Completed screen is displayed.

8. Click Finish to complete the installation.
