Adding dashboard pages

Add a dashboard page to display charts and item views for a specific purpose. For example, you may want to add a page for the Quality Assurance team to help team members understand the current status of the bug backlog. Or, you may want to add a page to help you understand the full portfolio of projects in Hansoft with cross-project information.

A default dashboard page named My dashboard page is available. By default, this page is not shared with others.

Tip:  The following information is for adding a new dashboard page without any charts or item views. You can also add dashboard pages from a template that contains charts and item views. See Adding dashboard pages from templates. Hansoft has example dashboard page templates you can use as a starting point for your own dashboards. See Example dashboard page templates.

1. Click Dashboards.

The Dashboards area opens.

2. Click + to the right of the dashboard page tabs and select New page.

The New page dialog box opens.

3. Enter a Name for the page. This is the name displayed on the tab in the Dashboards area and in other areas the dashboard is referenced.

4. Click OK.

The page is added. Next, add charts and item views to the page. See Working with dashboard charts and item views and Adding item views to dashboard pages.
