The Perforce QAC Visual Studio extension provides an interface to Perforce QAC from inside the Visual Studio Integrated Development Environment (IDE). This document describes how to install and uninstall the extension.
Failure to complete the installation instructions in the order in which they are described may lead to functional issues with the extension.
Once the extension has been successfully installed, you should consult the user instructions in the Perforce QAC Visual Studio Component Manual for the particular version of Perforce QAC with which the extension was designed to function.
If you have chosen not to install the main Perforce QAC application using the installers, but just extracted the ZIP archives then you MUST set the
QAC_LOCATION environment variable. See Using a Specific Version of Perforce QAC for more information.
