Resolve conflicts with other tools that use RLM

This section explains how to resolve conflicts with other tools that use RLM.

Typically you can use several tools, including Validate, on a single machine using RLM.

If you experience a conflict between the Validate license server and other tools running on the same machine that use RLM, set the PRQA_LICENSE environment variable to point to the Validate license server:

PRQA_LICENSE=<port>@<host>

• Replace <port>@<host> with the port number and the host name or IP address that the license server is running on.
