Connected Projects
Most code projects are worked on by more than one person. For reasons of efficiency and consistency, it is therefore recommended that one person sets up the Perforce QAC project, and then distributes it to anyone else who needs it. This means that all work relating to setting up the project and selecting the correct project options will only need to be done once by the person who sets up the project.
A Perforce QAC project can be connected to a Validate project, the Perforce QAC configuration details are then stored in a single place on the Validate server. Multiple local users are then able to re-create this project on their desktop.
Although, you can create multiple configurations for a project within Perforce QAC, so that you can switch between ACFs, RCFs and CCTs within the one project, it is only possible to connect a project that has a single configuration.
A Perforce QAC project cannot both be connected and unified.
