Helix QAC Command Line Installer Options for Windows and Linux

Unless you are using the legacy “.run” installer on Linux, there are several command line options which will work on Linux or Windows.

You can run the installer in CLI mode, as follows:

<installer name> install [option=value]

[option=value] are the settings and their values that you can configure on the command line.

You can specify the following options during the installation:

Option	Description
`license‑server <host>`	Specify a License Server host. If not set, the license server must be configured after installation.
`license‑port <port_number>`	Specifies the license server port. If this is omitted, it will default to 5055.
`‑‑accept‑licenses` (`‑‑al`)	Accepts all licenses without user input.
`‑‑confirm‑command` (`‑c`)	Confirms starting of installation, update, or removal of components without user input.
`‑‑root` (`‑t`)	Specify the location of the installation.
