Before you can start using the Perforce QAC options with a C/C++ Eclipse project, the project needs to have a C/C++ nature. A CDT project activates the C/C++ perspective.
The Perforce QAC Eclipse, installed in accordance with the Perforce QAC Eclipse Installation Notes, allows you to convert the CDT project into a Perforce QAC project, and to analyze and report on it as such. To this end, the Perforce QAC Eclipse makes the Perforce QAC Source Code Analysis Framework perspective available and provides access to the following menus:
- The Perforce QAC Menu.
- The Explorer Context Menu, which allows you to select Perforce QAC right-click options in the Project Explorer in the C/C++ perspective.
- The context menus relating to the Tabs for Active Project, in the Perforce QAC Source Code Analysis Framework perspective.
