Install P4V
P4V provides a graphical user interface (GUI) for working with versioned files in the P4 Server. The installer also includes additional client applications:

P4 Visual Client (P4V): Main GUI for interacting with P4 Server.

P4 Admin: GUI for administrative tasks, such as managing users and groups.

P4 Merge: Tool for merging and comparing files.

P4VC: Command-line utility for sending commands to P4V.

Supported platforms
The platforms listed in this section are regularly tested and included in ongoing regression testing. Any errors or bugs found on these platforms are prioritized for fixing. Platforms not listed are not actively tested by Perforce, although P4V may still run on them.
P4V can be installed on one of the following operating systems:

Apple's forward compatibility promise for macOS generally ensures that P4V will continue to run well on new operating system releases.

Prerequisites
Before you begin, ensure you have the connection information for the P4 Server (server address, port, and credentials). Contact your P4 Server administrator if you do not have the access information.
Download the installer

Navigate to the P4V download page.

In the Family field, select your operating system (Windows, Linux, or macOS). For example, for Windows, select either the EXE or the MSI version.

Click Download and save the installer on your system.

After the download completes, proceed to the installation steps for your operating system.
