Validate software

To help protect IT infrastructures, you can validate software packages that you download to ensure that they are free of tampering. You can also validate digital signatures that are applied to software packages.

P4 executables, packages, and package repos are digitally signed, with macOS binaries additionally notarized by Apple. Some files obtained through the Perforce portal can be verified by using the signatures placed in an adjacent file.
