Unlocked a locked file on P4 Server

If you have a file locked to prevent other users from submitting it, but want to let other users work on it while you still have it checked out, you can unlock it.

To unlock a file, the workspace must be connected to a P4 Server and you must be signed in to it. You must already have the file locked.

  1. In the file pane, right-click a locked file and choose Unlock File.

  2. In the Unlock file dialog box, click the unlock button.

    The file is unlocked and available to other users to submit.
