Sync changes with the P4 Server

If P4 One detects that the P4 Server has changes that are not in your workspace, the Sync changes button is displayed. This occurs the first time you connect a P4 One workspace to a P4 Server or as other team members submit changes to the server. To get the most recent changes from the server, sync the changes.

When you sync changes, P4 One automatically creates a local version with the add action.

1. When the Sync changes button is displayed and you want to sync changes, click the button.

2. In the Sync changelist dialog box, review the list of files that will be synced with your workspace.

3. To revert all of your files and changes in your workspace, and redownload all of the files and folders from the P4 Server depot, select Force Sync.

4. Click Sync.

   The changelist is submitted, the files are synced from the server to your workspace, and the new version is added to the timeline.
