Performance testing: Project Titan
The P4 One team runs performance tests with Project Titan. The project includes approximately 200,000 files and takes up about 50 GB of storage.
The following table shows timings for common P4 One actions in Project Titan.
| Action | Windows | macOS |
|---|---|---|
| Check local changes | 15s | 20s |
| Create a full local backup | 6m 20s | 4m 30s |
| Open a directory with 200K files | 0.7s | 0.5s |
If your experience with P4 One differs significantly from these numbers, something may be affecting your system performance. Contact your IT team to confirm that no active scans or antivirus tools are slowing down your computer and the project is not located on a network drive. If everything looks normal on their end, contact Perforce Support for help.
