Open a file in another application

You can open a file in another application to edit or view it.

Your operating system chooses default applications to open files of different formats. To open a file with its default application, double-click the file. Alternatively, right-click the file and choose an option:

• Open – Open the file with the default application.

• Open with – Choose an application to open the file with.
