Item status icons in the file view
In the file view, thumbnails for files and folders have icons to indicate their status within in the version. In this example, the Item added icon indicates that the file was added in the version.
The status icons you see depend on whether or not your workspace is connected to a P4 Server.

Item is checked out from P4 Server and is writable. Other users can see that you have the item checked out. The can make changes to the item because it is not locked. |

Item is locked by you or another user. Items are unlocked when submitted to P4 Server, unlocked, or freed (also known as reverted). |
