Copy environment details to help diagnose issues

If you are working on a support case with Perforce, you may be asked to provide details about your environment, including the P4 One application, your system, workspaces, and servers. These details will help the Support team diagnose the issue. You can copy all information the Support team needs from one place in P4 One.

  1. Navigate to view the environment details:

    • macOS: Choose Help > Help Us Diagnose.

    • Windows: Click and choose Help > Help Us Diagnose.

  2. In the Help Us Diagnose dialog box, click Copy to Clipboard to copy the details to the clipboard.

  3. Paste the details where requested, such as in the Log a case form when you are opening a case with Perforce Support.
