Passwords

Depending on the security level at which your P4 Server installation is running, you might need to log in to P4 Server before you can run P4 Server commands. Without passwords, any user can assume the identity of any other P4 Server user by setting P4USER to a different user name or specifying the -u option when you issue a p4 command. To improve security, use passwords.
