Connect to a P4 Server

Connections enable you to access P4 Server to submit and obtain access to files under P4 Server control. You use the Open Connection dialog both to define connections and to open them in P4 for Visual Studio.

You can:

• Define a new connection
• Define a connection using environment variables
• Open a defined connection
