Set up P4 Search

This section describes the set-up process for P4 Search. The P4 Search service can be deployed in a variety of ways depending on your use case. See Prerequisites .

Deploying P4 Search requires the following elements:

• A list of host addresses for Elasticsearch nodes you want to use for P4 Search.

• Login credentials (optional, but recommended).

• The p4search service. See The p4search service.
• P4 Search extensions. See Extension configuration.
• An indexing method. See Index P4 Search.
