The P4 Search API

The P4 Search API is a REST service providing an API to support P4 Code Review, P4V, and P4 DAM. The P4 Search API can be used, for example, to extend standard P4 Code Review searches to search file content and changelist descriptions.

The P4 Search API needs a connection to Elasticsearch and a P4 Server.

From P4 Search 2021.2, the v1 API endpoints have been deprecated. Support for them will be removed in a future release.

The v1 API endpoints have been replaced by v1.2 API endpoints.
