Using the P4 Authentication Service for single sign-on

If your Perforce TeamHub installation uses P4 authentication and you want to allow users to authenticate using an identity provider, such as Okta, configure the P4 Authentication Service (P4 AS) on the P4 Server. If your P4 Server is configured to use P4 AS, Perforce TeamHub will automatically authenticate with the P4 Server using P4 AS.

P4 AS provides integration with identity providers that support SAML or OpenID Connect authentication methods to allow single sign-on (SSO) to Perforce TeamHub and other Perforce products. When P4 AS is configured, the option to log in using SSO is displayed the Perforce TeamHub login page.

See the P4 Authentication Service Documentation for information about installing, configuring, and troubleshooting the service.

You must restart the unicorn_backend service if you configure P4 AS after configuring Perforce TeamHub.
