Revert changes to a file

If you make changes to a file and need to undo your changes, you can revert the file from the My changes list. Reverting a file automatically unlocks the file.

All file change types can be reverted:

  • Added: Deletes the file from your local workspace.

  • Deleted: Adds the file back to your local workspace.

  • Renamed: Changes the file name back to the name it has on the Helix Core Server.

  1. In Helix Sync, click the workspace to open it.

  2. Click the My changes list.

  3. Do one of the following:

    • To revert a file, click the vertical ellipsis Vertical ellipsis menu icon next to the file and click Revert my changes.

    • To revert all changed files in a folder, click the vertical ellipsis Vertical ellipsis menu icon next to the file and click Revert all files.
