Lock an asset from the preview image

When an asset is locked by a user, other users cannot work on it. The lock prevents multiple users from editing the same asset at the same time.

1. In Helix Sync, click the project to open it, and then open the collection.

2. Click the All assets list.

3. Click the asset name.

   The most recent version of the asset on your computer is displayed in Helix Sync.

4. Click the vertical ellipsis below the Profile menu and click Lock.

   The asset is locked and a Lock label is added to the asset:

   • In the My changes and All assets lists, the asset is labeled as Locked by: me.

   • In the Changes by others list, locked assets are labeled Locked by: username (username of the user who locked the asset).
