Open a file in the default editor

You can open a file in the default file editor from the My changes and the My files lists. Helix Sync uses the default editor set in your operating system.

1. In Helix Sync, click the workspace to open it.

2. Click the My changes or My files list.

3. Click the vertical ellipsis next to the file and click Open file with default editor.

The file opens in the default editor and is added to the My changes list.

Tip

Alternatively, double click the asset file name to open it in the default editor.
