Log in to Helix Sync
Before you log in for the first time, get the connection details and your log in credentials from your administrator.
Keep the following in mind:

If a newer version of Helix Sync is available, you are prompted to upgrade. Click Restart Helix Sync and install the update to upgrade to the latest version.

If Helix Sync cannot determine a character set to use, you are prompted to select one. The available character sets are configured on the Helix Core Server (P4CHARSET). Auto chooses the P4CHARSET automatically based on your operating system. Ask your administrator for help.
If your organization uses single sign-on (SSO) for Helix Core Server, you can use it to log in to Helix Sync through your organization's identity provider. See Log in with SSO.
Log in with a password
If the Password field is not displayed on the log in page, click Login with password.

Open Helix Sync.

Enter the URL or Helix Core Server connection details supplied by your administrator:

A Helix DAM URL must start with https or http.

A server address must include the Helix Core Server and port number.
For example, https://my-dam-url.com
For example, server:1666

Enter your Username.

Enter your Password.

Click Log in.
Log in with SSO
If your organization has single sign-on (SSO) configured for Helix Core Server, you can use it to log in through your organization's identity provider.

Open Helix Sync.

Click Log in with SSO.

Enter the connection details supplied by your administrator for the URL or Helix Core Server to connect to.

The Helix DAM URL must start with https or http.

The server address must include the Helix Core Server and port number.
For example, https://my-dam-url.com
For example, server:1666

Click Log in and your default web browser will open.
You are prompted to log in to the identity provider.

Enter your identity provider credentials to complete the Helix Sync SSO log in.
