By default:
-

-
Notifications are sent to reviewers, moderators, and applicable project members.
-
Notifications are not sent to the user who created or edited the comment.
-
Notifications are not sent to comment authors unless comment author notifications have been enabled by an administrator.
Users mentioned in a comment using @mention are included in future notifications for the associated review or file and receive a notification related to the comment activity. To learn more about mentions, see @mention notifications.
Edited comments
Users can only edit comments they created.
When a comment is edited:
-
A notification is sent to users involved in the review, including the review author and reviewers.
-
The user editing the comment does not receive the notification.
-
The comment timestamp is marked as (edited).
Delayed notifications
By default, comment notifications are delayed so that reviewers can add or edit multiple comments without generating a separate notification for each comment. Comments are grouped into a single notification and sent either manually by the reviewer or automatically when the notification delay expires.
The notification delay timer is reset each time a reviewer adds or edits a comment on a review.
By default, the notification delay is 30 minutes.
-
If you comment on more than one review, each review has its own notification delay timer that applies only to your comments on that review.
-
If multiple reviewers comment on the same review, each reviewer has their own notification delay timer for that review.
-
If you manually send a delayed comment notification, the notification contains only the comments that you made on that review.
Comment delays affect notifications only. Comments are posted immediately.
