View 3D model wireframes

You can change the appearance of a 3D model's wireframe in P4 DAM.

You can save any changes you make to your Viewer settings for the asset version you are viewing. Saved Viewer settings apply to that specific version of the asset and are shared with all users who view that version. To learn more, see Save and reset 3D Viewer settings.

  1. Click Viewer settings in the animation playback toolbar.

    The Viewer settings dialog opens.

    The Viewer settings dialog can be repositioned anywhere on the page or you can add it to the panes on either side of the asset.

  2. Under Wireframe, select a setting:

    • Off - No wireframe.

    • X-Ray - Wireframe only, hiding any surface textures.

      When this option is selected, a Color picker is displayed. Use this to change the color of the wireframe.

    • Shaded - Wireframe and surface textures.

      When this option is selected, a Color picker is displayed. Use this to change the color of the wireframe.

  3. To reset the wireframe to its default setting, click Reset. This also resets the other controls in the dialog.
