Remove an item from a bundle

If you remove an item from a bundle, it remains available in P4 DAM in its original location. Items can include assets, folders, or other bundles. For example, if you remove Sports/Basketball.fbx from a bundle, the Basketball.fbx file is still available in the Sports folder in P4 DAM.

Remove an item from a bundle when viewing a bundle

1. Open the bundle.

2. Select the item to remove.

3. Click the vertical ellipsis button next to the item to remove.

   A dropdown opens.

4. In the dropdown, click Remove from bundle.

   The Remove item from bundle dialog box opens.

   If an item is being used as the cover image for a bundle, the item cannot be removed. See Manage a bundle cover image.

5. Click Remove.

   The item is no longer part of the bundle.

   Removing an item from a bundle adds an exclusion rule to the bundle's list of path rules. See Path view.
