Manage company details and licenses

A company administrator can rename a company to change the display name used in P4 DAM, view the company ID used for logging in to P4 DAM, and manage the P4 DAM and P4 licenses. You must be a company administrator to manage the company name and licenses.

Change the company name

You can rename the company to change the display name used in P4 DAM.

  1. Click your avatar and click Company details.

    The Company details pane opens.

  2. Click Details.

  3. Click Edit Image of the Edit button next to the company name and enter the new company name.

  4. Click Image of the Confirm change button to confirm the new company name.
    The company display name is changed in P4 DAM.

View the company ID

The company ID is used when logging in to P4 DAM.

  1. Click your avatar and click Company details.

    The Company details pane opens.

  2. Click Details.

    The company ID is displayed in the Details pane.

View and manage P4 and P4 DAM licenses

P4 DAM users need to be licensed for P4 DAM and P4. The License section lets you monitor the license situation and to add more licenses if required.

The total number of licensed users includes the total number of active P4 DAM user accounts + the total number of Perforce TeamHub bots + one user for P4 DAM + up to two users for P4 Search. To learn more, see P4 DAM license.

The License section shows information about your P4 DAM and P4 licenses:

  • Valid until: The date on which your license is set to expire. When the license is within seven days of the expiry date, Expiring soon is displayed in red next to the license name.

  • Users: The total number of licensed users in your company and the maximum number of users allowed by the license. (n available) is displayed in yellow next to Users to warn you when the number of available users on the license drops to 25% of the maximum number of users allowed on the license and red when it drops to 5%. Where n is the remaining number of users available on the license.

  • Progress bar: A representation of how many users are licensed for your company. The blue bar changes to a yellow bar to warn you when the number of unused users on your licenses drops to 25% of the maximum number of users allowed on the license and a red bar when it drops to 5%.

  • Get more: Click to change the number of users on your license.

Add more users to a license

  1. Click your avatar and click Company details.

    The Company details pane opens.

  2. Click Details.

  3. Click Get more for the license you want to add more users to.

    An email message is opened in your default email client with the Perforce Sales email address in the To field.

  4. Enter your license details and requirements in the email body and send the email to get help from the Perforce Sales team.
