Create a project

A P4 DAM project contains collections of assets that you and your team can work on. For example, a project might include all the files for a game. See Projects.

Who can create a project depends on your company settings. See Manage company project settings.

Only project members can view and work with assets and bundles in a project. After you create a project, you can add team members.

  1. On the home page, click View all projects.

    The All projects page opens.

  2. Click Create project.

    The Create new project dialog box opens.

  3. Enter the Project name.

  4. Select a project color.

    The color will be used for the project's icon.

  5. If Project type options are not shown, skip to step 6 to create the project.

    If Project type options are shown, select a type. See Project types.

    The Project type options that are shown depend on the P4 DAM Company settings. If you are a P4 DAM company or project administrator, you can choose how to store P4 DAM assets in P4 Server. To learn more, see Choose how to store P4 DAM assets in P4.

  6. Click Create.

    The project is created.
