Add tags to assets in folders
Tags help identify and group assets for better searching and browsing. You can add a tag to a folder to tag all assets in the folder, including subfolders. Depending on the number of assets in the folder, it might take some time to add tags and for them to be available in searches. If you have mapped specific files to a folder in P4 DAM and add a tag to that folder, the tag will apply to all files in the folder.
To add tags to a specific asset, see Add tags to assets. To add tags to all assets in a collection, including folders and subfolders, see Add tags to assets in collections.
By default, you can add and remove tags to a maximum of 10,000 assets at once. If you try to tag or untag more assets than allowed, the tag action is blocked and an error is displayed showing the maximum number of assets that can be tagged. You can reduce the number of assets to tag and perform multiple tagging actions, or contact your P4 DAM administrator and ask them to increase the tag limit. See Configure the P4 DAM tag file limit.
