Show and hide collections in a repository - stream depots

You can control which collections are displayed in a repository. This lets you limit the collections to only those that designers will be working with, making it easier to find and work with assets.

When you hide a collection, you are not deleting anything. The stream is still stored in P4 Server.

You can:

• Show or hide multiple collections in a repository. See Show or hide multiple collections.

• Hide a single collection. See Hide a single collection.

Show or hide multiple collections

1. Open the project that contains the repository to manage. See Browse projects.

2. Click the repository to manage.

3. In the upper right of the page, below your avatar, click Manage streams.

4. In the Manage streams dialog box, select the streams (collections) to show or hide in the repository.

   At least one stream must be selected.

5. Click Save changes.

   The repository is updated.

Hide a single collection

At least one collection must be displayed in the repository. If the repository only displays one collection, you cannot hide it.

1. Open the project that contains the collection to hide. See Browse projects.

2. Click the repository that contains the collection to hide.

3. Click the collection to hide.

4. In the upper right of the page, below your avatar, click the vertical ellipsis icon .

5. Select Hide from P4 DAM.

6. In the confirmation dialog box, click Hide.

   The collection is hidden.

   To show the hidden collection again, in the repository, click Manage streams. To learn more, see Show or hide multiple collections.
