Installing P4 DAM for Autodesk Maya

You can install the P4 DAM for Autodesk Maya plugin by downloading the plugin from Perforce.

1. Close Maya before beginning the installation.

2. Go to the Perforce Downloads page, and download the P4 DAM Maya Integration.

3. Open the folder where you downloaded the file, and double click the file to begin the installation.

   A window opens.

4. Click Install.

   You may be prompted to allow the app to make changes to your system. Click Yes.

5. Click Exit.

6. Open Maya.

7. Choose Windows > Settings/Preferences > Plug-in Manager.

8. Enter Helix in the search field and find P4 for Maya 2022. Select Loaded to add the plugin to the toolbar and click Auto load to load the plugin when you restart Maya.

9. In the Maya toolbar, choose Helix Maya > Panel to open P4 for Maya.

   A window opens.

10. Click Continue.

11. Enter your username, password, and P4 DAM URL.

12. Click Log in.
