Using Helix DAM with Adobe Photoshop

Log in with your Helix DAM credentials and start managing your assets with Photoshop.

  1. Ask your administrator for the Helix DAM URL and your login credentials if you do not already have them.

  2. Start Helix Sync.

  3. Start Photoshop and choose Plugins > Helix DAM from the menu.

  4. You are prompted to click Continue.

  5. Enter the Helix DAM URL, your username, and password.

  6. Click Log in.

    The window shows your projects. You can browse projects or search for a project. See Browse projects for more information.

  7. Select a project to work with.

    The collections in the project open. See Browse collections for more information.

  8. Select an asset in the collection to work with.

    Photoshop files (.psd files) open in Photoshop for editing.

  9. Make any changes to the asset.

  10. Upload your updated files to Helix DAM so other users have access to your changes.

Click the open arrow in the integration to open the same project or collection in Helix DAM.
